Recently, Tianyi Satcom and Xidian University jointly established "Xidian University-Shaanxi Tianyi Satcom Company Limited Joint Laboratory of Antenna Technology" (hereinafter referred to as "Joint Laboratory"), which is formally established.
Guided by the national strategy and market demand, and based on the characteristic products and advantageous disciplines, the Joint Laboratory will focus on the joint R&D and talent cultivation of key technologies such as antenna technology development, product application design, product testing and debugging, and product testing and inspection in the field of satellite communication.
Xidian University and Tianyi Satcom both have profound academic accumulation and influence in the field of satellite communication antenna. The Key Laboratory of Antenna and Microwave Technology of Xidian University is a national research institution specializing in the field of antenna and microwave technology, and it has achieved a series of outstanding results in the fields of advanced antenna microwave measurement technology, high-performance star-carrying complex antenna optimization design technology, high-frequency channel measurement system, wireless power transmission, and the development of large-scale electromagnetic computation software, and so on. Tianyi Satcom has innovatively applied carbon fiber and other composite material forming techniques in the field of microwave space synthesis, addressing a critical gap in China's capability for large-aperture, high-frequency parabolic antenna technology. The company possesses robust research and development capabilities in the areas of advanced process development for large, complex, and highly precise carbon fiber composite communication antenna panels, as well as in the integration of large-scale carbon fiber antenna panel fabrication technologies. Multiple models of their communication antennas boast technological levels that are internationally advanced and domestically leading.
This cooperation, in line with the "complementary advantages, resource sharing, mutual benefit and win-win, common development" principle, the two sides will establish a comprehensive, long-term, close cooperative relationship, and jointly promote the development of satellite communications antenna technology to a new height.
